SPC Vinyl Flooring stands for stone plastic composite vinyl flooring. Similar to WPC vinyl, an SPC vinyl is an engineered luxury vinyl that combines limestone and stabilizers to create an extremely durable core. An SPC vinyl floor is still 100% waterproof, but adds stability, dent resistance and structure to vinyl plank flooring.
An SPC vinyl has several main layers.
Stability in Temperature Fluctuations: With the stone construction, an SPC vinyl core is more stable in environments with temperature changes, such as cabins, homes with AC units and homes with humidity fluctuations.
Appearance: SPC vinyl flooring can have a variety of looks, textures and styles. It will be hard to believe they are vinyls!
DIY Installation: SPC vinyl flooring is a click-lock installation system. It is installed similarly to a regular vinyl and laminate with a tongue and groove installation. No glues or extra tools are required! This is a floor for the everyday DIY’er.
Comfort: The SPC vinyl floor is going to feel more sturdy and cushioned under foot than a traditional vinyl due to the dense core and thickness of the plank. A thicker plank will give you more comfort. Also, some SPC vinyls will have attached underlayment that adds to the softness under foot. If it does not have attached underlayment, you can opt for an LVT specific underlayment to install over the subfloor.
Sound: With the dense core, this plank tends to have a quieter sound. You will not hear a hollow sound when you walk on it.
Affordability: SPC vinyl plank flooring is very budget friendly. Depending on the brand and features, you can find SPC vinyl in a variety of price ranges. Features like attached underlayment, texture and edges can increase a floors price.
Easy Maintenance and Cleaning: An SPC vinyl will have the same cleaning and maintenance needs as a regular vinyl. These planks are designed to be easily cleaned with regular sweeping and mopping.
Tiles will be shrink wrapped on a pallet and delivered to the ground level edge of your property (curbside). The driver will NOT be able to assist getting the tiles into your property due to insurance purposes. Orders under 20kg weight will be delivered with a parcel courier.
When ordering Tile Samples you will receive a small cut sample either 10cm x 10cm or 15cm x 15cm.
We hope that you will be pleased with the tiles that you have bought from Tiles-Direct. If you wish to return any goods to us, it must be returned to us in re-saleable condition, in its full original carton/box and the range is still for sale via our website. The customer will be responsible for organising the return of the goods to our distribution warehouse return centre within 30 days of the delivery date. The refund will be processed within 3-5 working days following our receipt of the re-saleable items.
There will be a restocking charge of 10% of the goods returned.
If the goods are not in a re-saleable condition when they arrive back with us, Tiles-Direct reserve the right to amend the amount of the refund based on the value of re-saleable goods.
If you decide to return an entire order, costs will need to be deducted for the delivery, and the return costs.

The best way to determine if a lorry can access your home/business address is whether you have a bin vehicle collecting from outside your premises.
Wide enough access - to accept large delivery lorries (minimum 2.8m)
No obstacles - free of obstacles that could obstruct delivery (e.g. low hanging tree branches)
No Inclines - the delivery area should be flat, rather than a steep slope
Hard & level surface - hand pallet trucks only operate on hard flat surfaces, not loose ground such as grass or gravel
Turning space - ample room to manoeuvre and position the lorry
You MUST advise if there are any parking or time restrictions at the delivery point.
General Delivery Information
From our carrier you will receive a text message on the day of the delivery with a 2 hour delivery window. If there any changes or delays you will receive an update via text.
If you have any doubts regarding the condition of the delivery, Please ensure to sign for the goods “UNCHECKED”.
You must be available to accept delivery on the date you have requested, failure to do so will result in paying for a re delivery charge.
Due to insurance and health and safety regulations we are unable to transport goods into a Customer’s property
