Thousands of proud homeowners have headed online to shout about their beautiful homes, so log on and share in their story. Today, we’re bringing you 5 of the most incredible kitchens on Instagram – so you can ignite your imagination for a creative kitchen of your own.
Sleek and chic
There’s no doubt about it, monochrome is the new black – and it’s not hard to see why with this snap from @maritshome. Crisp white walls contrast perfectly with the horizontal layers of black surfaces, creating an elegant and contemporary kitchen. It’s not all black and white in this kitchen design though. It’s the leafy green furnishings and shades of beige on the splashback and kitchen flooring which softens up the room – creating a sleek and chic paradise. Our style-gurus have spotted this kitchen in Ikea, so it couldn’t be easier to get the look. Adorn with bold black accessories and opt for pale wood-effect floor tiles – simple!
White and gold
For a kitchen that gleams with elegance and luxury, this is the real winner. In this snap, @thechicybeast is showing us how to bring traditional golden taps and antique-style studded chairs into the modern day – with an astonishing feature wall. The contrasting dark detailed lines look fabulous in this minimalist kitchen – so for a splashback that’s seriously chic, why not consider the BCT circle feature kitchen tiles?
Fabulous and fun
For most homes, the kitchen is the hub of the house. This snap captures how to perfectly reflect your happy family life in this busy room, and we love it! Husband and wife duo, @rokhardware, show us that there really is no need to fear this vibrant shade of yellow – so why not go bright in your home? The polished sheen of the kitchen cabinets reflect any natural light, meaning the contrast of the dark splashback won’t compromise the brightness of the room. Add a pop of colour into your kitchen and complement the tones with the stoney texture of our Niagara wall tiles.
Contemporary art
We adore the Italian designs from @yaminikitchens, but there’s a reason why this snap is a particular favourite. This photograph proves that some of the best kitchens break all the traditional rules of interior design – shown by the contrasting colours of the Italian and Miami cabinets, which are brought together by the central dining furniture. The Scandinavian-style chairs are perfect accompaniments to the bold dining table-come-work of art. Yamini show us that dark kitchen floors needn’t overpower the room either. Coupled with a minimalist interior, this dark grey floor allows natural light to bounce around the room – and the effect is astonishing!
Exposed brick
As feature wall ideas go, exposed brick has got to be up there in our list of favourites. The rustic reds and beige hues recreate an element of earthy and natural tones, not to mention the magnificence of the different textures on the wall. In this shot, @rtbt_homedecor is showing us how natural brick and brick wall tiles can – and should – go hand-in-hand in any urban kitchen. The gloss on bevelled metro brick tiles mean that they’re a practical solution for any busy domestic area, not to mention the beauty of their reflective sheen.
