Wood-effect bathroom tiles

Botanicals are set to dominate interior design in 2024, particularly in the bathroom where calming neutrals are right at home. Wood-effect tiles especially will be a mainstay of bathroom design in the coming year, as homeowners and interior designers look to recreate the quintessential spa aesthetic in domestic bathrooms.

In keeping with this nature-inspired design scheme, choose wood-look wall and floor tiles in soothing, rustic designs like light oak or dark walnut. With a huge range of porcelain tiles featuring a realistic-looking wood grain finish, there are options galore when it comes to bringing this bathroom tile trend into your home in 2024.

Real and imitation marble

Another spa-inspired tile trend that will gain further popularity in 2024 is marble. The dreamy marble look is characterised by dainty vein detailing that brings elegance and nuance to walls or floors. Whether you’re working with a luxury redesign budget and looking for genuine honed marble tiles or you need a more affordable imitation marble alternative, you’re in luck.

We stock a diverse selection of marble and marble-effect tiles in colour options ranging from classic white, grey and black to pale pink and green and even an opulent blend of black and gold. Put simply, whatever style statement you want to make in your bathroom next year, you can use marble tiles as your medium.

We stock a choice of genuine marble and affordable marble-effect tile designs to help you harness this trend in your bathroom.

The speckled terrazzo look

The terrazzo effect has been an enduring tile trend for a little while now, and it doesn’t look set to leave the spotlight any time soon. Equally at home in modern minimalist and rustic Mediterranean-style spaces, these speckles tiles are available in a variety of monochromatic and multicoloured designs so you can harness the beautiful terrazzo aesthetic whatever your tastes.

The timeless terrazzo look is right at home in the bathroom, where its soothing stone-effect finish can bring sophistication and ambience to your walls or floors. Designs include grey terrazzo tiles with white speckles, cream tiles with mixed brown speckles, stunning tutti frutti terrazzo options with multicoloured speckles, and even pastel-coloured terrazzo Kit Kat mosaics.

Herringbone (again)

It may come as little surprise that the ever-popular herringbone tile look is still a prevailing tile trend heading into 2024. These sought-after mosaic tiles have applications galore throughout the home, but they’re particularly striking when used on bathroom or shower walls to create an eye-catching accent feature.

Their iconic pattern, reminiscent of a fish skeleton shape, brings dynamism to bathroom walls without being overly dominant – especially when paired with grout in a shade that matches the tiles. From classic white, black and grey herringbone tiles to pink, blue, green, marble-effect and even mother of pearl designs, there’s no shortage of options when it comes to hijacking the herringbone tile trend in your own unique way.
